Tracking Your Rental Property Expenses

In the menu, select Expenses to view all expenses recorded by you
and your team (e.g. cleaning products by your cleaners; coffee or bottles of
wine by your keyholders; etc.).

Note that each expense can be defined as Owner responsibility or
Manager responsibility. This choice will affect your accounting: Owner
expenses will be deducted from owner profit and reimbursed to managers and team
members; Manager expenses will will be deducted from manager profit and will
not affect owners.

 

To enter your own expenses (or an expense for another team member), click
Add.

Here you should:
  • Enter whatever items you bought for the property
  • Select the team member
  • Select the property
  • Enter the date
  • Enter the amount (currency will show automatically)
  • Note anything additional (store where item was bought,
    reason item was bought, etc.)
Note that your owners will see all of these fields in the monthly accounting
for each property.
