Setting Up Your Rental Property Teams
Go to Team in the Setup menu.

Under Invite to Team:
- Select User Type:
- Owner: The name of someone who owns one of the properties
you manage (maybe you – if so, check this box too). Owners have access
to their property calendar and monthly accounting. - Cleaner: The name of someone who cleans one of the properties
you manage (maybe you – if so, check this box too). Cleaners have
access to the calendars of all properties they clean and receive
updates about guest arrivals and departures. They also access their
expense sheets to record their hours, incidental purchases, and any
additional fees. Hourly Rate means how much they charge
per hour to clean. Pressing: Single Sheet Set and
Pressing: Double Sheet Set mean how much they charge to
clean/press one single or double set of sheets (i.e. fitted sheet,
top sheet, two pillowcases). If the cleaner does not charge separately
for sheets, or charges hourly for washing/ironing, you can leave
this blank. If you handle pressing, just enter that separately in
your Manager expenses. - Keyholder: The name of the person who checks in/checks out
guests at one of the properties you manage (maybe you – if so, check
this box too). Keyholders have access to the calendars of all
properties where they check in/check out and receive updates about
guest arrivals and departures. They also access their expense sheets
to record their check-ins/check-outs and any incidental purchases.
Keyholder Check-in Fee means how much they charge to greet guests and give them the keys.
Keyholder Check-out Fee means how much they charge to meet guests at departure and inspect the property/recuperate the keys. If this Keyholder does not do check-outs, you can leave
this field blank.
- Owner: The name of someone who owns one of the properties
- Send Welcome Email: Upon save, sends the team member an email
with a link to set up their password and some basic information on how
to use Airstreamed. - Receive Notifications: Check (recommended) if you want the team
member to receive notifications about bookings, arrivals, departures,
payments, etc. Individual notifications can be turned on or off in
Setup > Message Templates. This box simply serves as a kill switch on the rare occasion you don’t
want a team member to receive anything.
Click Invite to Team, and the team member will receive the Welcome Email
if you’ve checked that box. Now just repeat this process for all of your
team members, and you’re finished with this section!
Changing Your Manager
If you no longer want to be the Manager, you can select another team member or invite a new Manager via email.
